Why is timestamp important everywhere

12 May

I personally feel that timestamp is the most important tag that any post or page or comment or product page or even a normal physical paper should have. Having a timestamp help assess users if the information is still relevant which I am not sure if the present day search engines would take care of. I came across one such site today which has no timestamp in the comments section which degrades the User Experience. I have found one of the few on the internet just today. As you are curious to know the site, it’s here – www.fluther.com .

The comments do not have a timestamp on them when a user commented. Atleast the timestamp on the post/question gives the user information that its more than 1 year old (relatively).

I was trying to find if textmate is worth it or not

Hail Macheist.com

I started using a Mac about a year back and the experience is awesome. Way better than Windows XP. I am sure I would get suggestions to try the awesome Windows 7, but after all the blue screen of deaths , viruses, spyware and all other bull$hit I am through with M$ products.

Coming back to the actual topic of the post – Macheist.com raised donation for charity close to $426 Grand . The bundle contains 7 8 Mac Apps for just $20 (see screenshots below).Users go there since they want to buy software for cheap and get also could donate to charity. It’s a win-win situation.  This the third time they have done this and was called Mac Heist 3.
